Royal Blue dresses and stunning blue necklaces…

One of my very favorite colors is Royal Blue. It’s usually stunning on anyone who wears it; blondes, brunettes and redheads. I love to wear it and I love to dress my dolls in it. Sometimes it can be hard to find it in smaller scale prints, so when I do, I grab them up. As I was looking through my pictures, I found a fair number of doll dresses made from it, so I thought I’d share a few of those with you today.

Rebecca, my “in house jeweler,” who makes the pretty necklaces for my American Girl doll dresses, had quite a few pictures of blue necklaces, so I’m including a few of them as well…along with one pair of royal blue fingerless gloves made by me. I hope if you’re in a “blue” mood today, these pictures will get you out of it. Enjoy!! You can see the necklaces that Rebecca has in our Etsy shop here. She’s has had a busy semester of college and hasn’t got as many in there as she’d like. She also has a few ladies necklaces in the shop too.

Did you enjoy them?

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. Beautiful blue dresses (and jewelry), Jeanne, (and Becca). I love blue too. Royal blue is so pretty and regal, but for some reason the shade that I drool over is a light blue that is going towards aqua, but still is a blue. (sky blue?) Have a wonderful Sunday!

    • Thanks Cindy,
I like that same shade of blue that you like too. Sky blue, summer blue, turquoise, it doesn’t matter to me… blues are all so pretty!
I hope you have a nice Sunday too.
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. Sylvia Dockx says:

Very pretty! Blue is my favorite color. My favorite is the Kish Doll with the Hanky dress.
Your work is great as usual! Such nice eye candy!! Sylvia

    • Thank you Sylvia,
Doesn’t Wren look beautiful in that color? I just loved that dress on her.
      Thanks for looking,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. I love all the blue dresses and necklaces. I would a have to say that I really love the dress in the third picture ( not sure who the doll is) I think I have a thing for straw hats. ha!

    • HI Regina,
That’s a Winter Four Seasons 16″ doll by Helen Kish. I don’t have her anymore, but she was a raven haired beauty with the most beautiful sculpted hands and feet you’ve ever seen. She was a good model with her dark hair and her fair complexion. She looked exceptionally pretty in this blue and white dress set.
I have a thing for straw hats too… especially Colonial ones…
      Thanks Regina,
      Blessings, Jeanne
