Red doll necklaces…and Oh, So Pretty!!

I’m not the only one in my house who loves to work with RED! My daughter, Rebecca, is quite the talented jewelry maker and she has her own unique style. She is very busy with college this semester, and isn’t able to make as many necklaces as she used to, but she still gets a few done and we list them in our Etsy store as often as possible. You can click HERE to go to our store, but you’ll have to look at her “Sales” to see some of her past necklaces to appreciate her work.

I thought since it’s Valentine’s week, I would share some of my favorite “red” necklaces Rebecca has made over the last few years for my/your doll outfits! She really is wonderful at making pretty necklaces and I’m so blessed to have her working beside me.

Rebecca’s jewelry work is very creative and of a high quality. We are delighted with the necklaces she has made for our AG dolls. I encourage everyone to look into added a piece or two to your doll’s wardrobe. The necklaces she made for us carried off the color and theme of the fabric on the dresses the talented Jeanne made for our AG dolls. Just as sweet as can be!!

    1. Thank you so much Jeannie,
I read all of the comments to Rebecca a little while ago and she just smiled! She wishes she had more time to make them like she used to but it’s just not going to happen at least right now.
      Thanks again Jeannie,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. I too love those necklaces, Jeanne! Rebecca does a lovely job, and seems to be as talented as her talented mother! I also have some of her necklaces, and they fit perfectly and are of a high quality too. I especially love the 13th one down, with the heart dangle. and silver beads—so delicate and pretty!

    1. Thank you Linda,
Back when she used to sell at Farmer’s Market alongside me, she wanted to think of a name for her jewelry business… she came up with “Jewelry of Quality” and had that printed on some bags. Even to this day, when she gets a bead/jewelry catalog in the mail, it comes addressed to Rebecca Wiedlocher, Jewelry of Quality!
Yes, that 13th one was very popular, but especially in the blue… She called it her Titanic Blues necklace and sold LOTS of them.
Was the post there when you got up at 3:00 this morning?
      Thanks so much Linda,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. They are all so pretty. I was trying to find my favorite as I scrolled, but the next one and then the next one… (you get the picture) kept catching my eye. It is so special that Rebecca can share her creativity with your doll ensembles. Does Rebecca sew too?

    1. Hi Cindy,
I had the same problem trying to narrow down the ones I wanted to show! She’s made SO many and they are all as lovely as the next!
No, Rebecca doesn’t sew, but she did tell me this morning she’d like to learn the basics so I didn’t have to do everything for her! I guess that’s a start!
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. Yes, Jeanne, the post was there at 3:00 a.m., but I didn’t get around to posting until after 7:00! Was checking out the new release on AG website. Your post just makes my day start on the right track, and it feels so lonely at 3:00 in the morning with no mail from you!! Thank you so much for just being YOU!

    1. Hi Linda,
Just wondering because I saw your 7:00 post and thought maybe it had reverted back to the old time…
Thanks so much! You are too kind.
      Blessings, Jeanne

    1. Thanks Kathie,
She is really wonderful at making them… she was swamped when she first started making them, that she almost considered doing them instead of working outside the home… sh was THAT busy and had that many sales!
      I think I’ll keep her!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. Yor daughter must have your gift for creating. The necklaces are all beautiful and I love that she makes things for the dolls–just like her mom!

    1. Hi Carolyn,
Rebecca is pretty creative! We both are “visual” people and if we can use our hands or draw a picture we can accomplish it faster! I think we have the same kind of brain and think alike! She is very talented when it comes to making her jewelry…she really has found her niche but just needs more time right now… She loves making necklaces and squeezes them in when she can.
      Thanks so much Carolyn,
      blessings, Jeanne
