My Many Mini Minnie Mouse Models…

( OOPS… I haven’t done this for a while, but I accidentally hit the “publish” button for the 14th instead of the 15th, so you may have gotten a sneak preview of today’s post. )

Well, it’s official…I’m having fun with my family! We’ve gotten a few things done already, and I’d LOVE to show you, but my computer is out of data…AGAIN…however… I get new data reloaded Wednesday night, so I’ll be able to upload some of my pictures to share with you. I won’t give anything away too much, but today involved a doll, a hair washing, a paint brush, a repaired shoe, and a pizza! (I’m sure you JUST CAN’T WAIT to find out what we did today, can you???) :o)

I’m guessing you realize from the title of this post that it doesn’t have anything to do with Kirsten, and you would be right! Sorry… she’s still standing in the same exact spot as she was 2 days ago! I will get back to her, but not at this exact moment. If you missed knowing it, my sisters and brother are visiting this week and we’ll celebrate Father’s Day together! ( I have a few recipes to share this week, so hang on!)

So… in the meantime, with the speed of a snail for my computer and no new pictures able to upload, I’ve had to go to the “archives” and pull something out that I hope you’ll enjoy seeing. It IS about dolls and it just so happens that all of them are on one sweet doll of mine. I don’t think I intended for all my mini Minnie Mouse dolls to be featured with Lian, but somehow it just happened that way. If you’re new to Lian, she’s my 13″ Dianna Effner Little Darling and she’s in the spotlight today! The mini Minnie Mouse dolls came from Walmart a few years ago.

…and just in time for The Fourth of July… one of my all time favorite Patriotic dresses…

Okay, you know I’m going to ASK, do you have a favorite set you like best?

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

Those dresses are so adorable on Lian, how in the world are we supposed to pick one, Jeanne??! Well, the more I think about it, I do believe I like the 3rd dress with ruffles the best, but they all are such sweet dresses! And that Lian!!! I just love her winsome look, and she is just the cutest little doll! Is she supposed to be an Asian doll? She reminds me of AG Ivy a lot, who I do have and love to dress up! No, she doesn’t have pretty blonde curls, but the straight black hair on that sweet little face is enough to melt my heart!

I won’t keep you from enjoying your family, so will close for now. Hope it isn’t as hot for you as it is here in St. Louis!

  2. Lian is my favorite Little Darlings and she looks absolutely adorable in all the pretty dresses. It is hard to pick one but I’d have to say the first 3 are my favorite – Especially the black and white checked dress and her mini Minnie Mouse.
Love your style and your unique creativity!
I know you’re having a great time with family…so enjoy your time with them. My brother and his friend are visiting us at the lake…can’t wait.

  3. My favorite, the blue and pink. That is if we’re not talking 4th of July.
Sounds like you are having a fun filled week. We’re headed to see the grand kiddies Sunday. Little guy is now crawling everywhere.

My favorite is the black/white crisp and classic! Of course, Lian is such a sweet model, she makes everything look good:)
I really like the felt hats that you have shown with several outfits. I know I’ve seen that pattern somewhere, and my even have it:) Now I’ll need to search, as it’s such a perfect finishing touch!
    Have a great weekend!

  5. They’re all so charming, Jeanne! I’m partial to red and white so I’d (only in a pinch because they’re all adorable) choose the red/white polka dots/black ric rac dress ensemble.

It’s wonderful that you’re having a good time with your family…special.

    Take care.

    Hi Jeanne,

Once again your pictures have me coveting a Little Darlings doll! The two black/white/red outfits look so striking on Lian with her coloring, but each design has its charms, and Lian looks very pretty in ALL of them. Of course, Lian is so sweet that she can wear anything well. If I must choose, the patriotic would be my favorite. The fabric combination just pops, and the button bodice was a stroke of genius! Just love it!

Wishing you a wonderful time with your family, Jeanne. I know you will have all kinds of fun, and your teaser about what you have done so far has me waiting expectantly for details!
All the best to your hubby and brother for Father’s Day!

  7. My favorite is the: “Stars and Stripes “Forever”. {The last one.} But they all are Beautiful!!!
She is so sweet! Love her.

Thank you everyone. Your comments were all so sweet! I appreciate each and every compliment very much.
We are having fun and I am really enjoying myself!
    Thanks again everyone,
    Blessings, Jeanne

  9. Hi Jeanne,
I took a quick peek the other day and returned for a better look!
Just loved each one as I scrolled down… Lian is soooo pretty!
    What a look she has!
So all are lovely but I love the b&w gingham and the red with polka dots for sure.
    I adore red dresses!
Thank you for a sweet post!
