“My Imagination” Dolls from Tonner…and a thrill for me…

Did you know the Tonner Doll Company is planning to release a new 18″ play doll sometime at the end of this year? She’s a vinyl sweetheart of a doll and is supposedly the same size as the American Girl dolls. I thought since the wigs were being sold, these dolls could have theirs changed if you liked, but as I read on the Tonner website, I discovered their wigs are non-removable…(Not that they can’t be removed…people do it to Patsy all the time.)
I thought I’d give you a heads up in case she “floats your boat” so you could start saving for her. (She’s a very reasonable price!) Some of you die hard Tonner fans might have more information about her but I thought I’d pass along what I did know as of now.

You can click on any picture and it will enlarge.

This is Alice…she runs $89.99.

I also wanted to share something very exciting…at least to me!!!
When I bought my Ten Ping doll a few months ago, I chose to get her from Lone Star Dolls in Texas. I struck up a friendship with the owner, Dale, and just yesterday she graciously added a link to my website/blog on her Doll Links tab. I was thrilled… my first BIG step since I started blogging… almost a year ago.

See….

and then if you click “Doll Links”…Dale put me at the top of the list!!!

It’s probably only a “ME” thing, but I have to tell you, it’s pretty exciting for someone like me to have a link on a website of some business down in Texas…or anywhere for that matter! Thank you Dale! (Now if I could just get my HEAD through the door!!!) :o)

Dale was the one who told me about the “My Imagination” Tonner dolls and told me she has them all on order. If you want, you can call her or drop her an email to get a pre-order going for your next doll! Click HERE to be transported to Lone Star Dolls.

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. What a thrill for you, Jeanne! I wouldn’t worry about you not getting your head through the door! You are the one of the most unselfish, generous persons I know! It’s fun though to see that someone values what you have to say, and it is perfectly fine to be recognized!

Those Tonner dolls are very pretty and very reasonably priced. I still do prefer the American Girl dolls because of their sweet smile.

    1. HI Linda,
Thank you so much for your sweet words to me… I do appreciate them!

I’m going to have to see if they grow on me….

      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. Congratulations Jeanne! So happy for you. I don’t know a more deserving person!
    God Bless

  3. How exciting, Jeanne! It doesn’t take much to make us bloggers happy, does it? So, will you be getting a new doll? They are cute. I see resemblances to Patsy in her face.

Did your veggies get snatched up in seconds yesterday? It’s so sweet of you to share. You are helping everyone stay healthy. Don’t forget to eat your veggies too!

Have a great mid summer July day, Jeanne.

    1. Good morning Cindy,
No, it doesn’t take much to thrill me! It’s the simplest things that seem to matter most to me.
The dolls do resemble the Patsy dolls. I’m not sure about getting her… I only have so much space and my rule is I have to absolutely be ga-ga about the doll to bring her home… I’m talking looking at her pictures 10+ times a day just to get my fill of her…so we’ll see…

Yes, the veggies got snatched up very fast… and people had big plans for them! We have a salad most every night, so I do eat my veggies!
      Thanks Cindy,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. How exciting and special for you to be written about! You are getting famous. Hope more doll lovers get to know you too. I agree with what Linda wrote. You are such a special lady.

By the way, the pictures of your vegetables were nice enough to put in a home magazine. What a great garden.
It’s a little windy and overcast today. Good day for reading a book or sewing if you have time.
    Blessings!

    1. Morning Paula,
Well, I’m not sure about the famous part, and I’m not sure I want any fame… but it was a fun thing for me to see a link to my blog on someone’s business site. Thank you for your sweet words to me…
If you could have seen the kitchen counter all around where I cropped off the pictures, you’d have thought otherwise about my veggies being in a home magazine. Our house is a work in progress, and the kitchen hasn’t been touched. It’s pretty awful looking, but it’s what I have, so I generally crop as small as I can to leave out any of the counter, cabinets, windows, etc.
It’s a beautiful day today…but it’s going to be really hot. The heat index is supposed to be 100+ degrees! I’m staying inside!
      Blessings to you Paula,
      ~ Jeanne

    1. HI Jan,
Thanks for taking a look at her… I’m looking to see what the response from everyone will be…
      Blessings, Jeanne

    1. HI Jevne,
      Thanks for the congrats, Jevne.
I’m not sure why they just had bendable knees but on the Tonner website where they introduced her, many of the comments were made wishing for bendable elbows next. Maybe Tonner wanted to test the waters first and see what kind of response they got first. They did that with Patsy…first just all straight limbs, then bendable knees, then bendable knees and elbows… maybe it’s just how they do it. I guess we’ll see…
      Thanks, Jeanne
