Lots of NEW Necklaces for your American Girl dolls…

Someone in my house has been very busy! Rebecca! My daughter loves it when she finds the time to make necklaces for your American Girl dolls. Well, she got busy this last week and came up with 19 new necklaces. Many of them are perfect for Valentine’s Day and would look darling on your dolls. You can find them in our Etsy shop HERE. A few of them have already been snagged by someone…

Here are a few of my favorites that I picked out of this bunch…

    1. HI Jan,
Yes, that first one is really sparkly and is one of my favorites too!
      Thanks so much,

  1. Lovely necklaces, Jeanne, and Rebecca! I’m trying to think of outfits that need a necklace. I usually have a particular one in mind, so that I know it will be used with that dress and not just sitting there in the jewelry box looking pretty! Yes, the sparkly one is a favorite here too. I think that the clear and pearl necklaces are most popular because they go with a variety of outfits, not just a certain color-schemed one.

    1. Thank you Linda,
It’s SO nice having a “live in jeweler” at my house! The white ones Rebecca makes are certainly popular… She’ll be thrilled when she comes home from school today to see that several of them are gone!
      Thanks Linda,

  2. Lovely necklaces Rebecca made. The shamrock necklace I ordered this morning as soon as I saw it may save the St. Patrick’s Day dress I’m making for Riya. She wanted three shamrock buttons on the front. I’m using Simplicity 1086, but buttons don’t come small enough to use on the jabot. I suggested a necklace instead and she was okay with that. She came up with St. Pat’s Day instead of a Valentines Day dress as I made one last year. Now to figure out a long jacket like Simplicity 2834 except it’s for girls, not dolls. Oh, dear!

    1. HI Susette,
I looked the jacket pattern you mentioned for Riya’s doll’s St. Patrick’s Day dress. I think you could combine a few patterns and come up with a jacket. I looked for something in a pattern already put together, but didn’t actually see anything. I’d find a dress with a swirly skirt, split it up the middle, maybe round the front edges, add it to a looser bodice, add some bell or flared sleeves and lace up the front… I think you can do it!
Thanks for buying the shamrock necklace… my hubby mailed it off this morning…

Two more gone! And several on reserve. Rebecca is doing very well, and deserves to be doing well. The only problem is that you have to take time out from sewing to send them.

Jeanne, your description for Susette sounds so pretty. Maybe you could demonstrate on an upcoming outfit. Would it have to be modern or could Kit or Molly or Maryellen wear it?

    1. Thank you Marilyn,
Rebecca was very pleased with everyone’s response to her necklaces.
The Irish outfit I had in mind was more like a costume… I think I’ll let Susette see what she comes up with …

      Thanks Marilyn
      Blessings, Jeanne
