Long distance sewing help…

This isn’t a post where you will learn something… it’s not a tutorial… it won’t have bright colorful pictures… but, it’s something I really wanted to share. I helped a very dear friend over the telephone (several calls…) with a sewing project she was working on. She was frantic and frustrated, but she managed to understand what I said and in return I received this wonderfully clever, handmade card, that took a lot of time (I’m sure) to think up and make. She’s very creative and talented but she was lacking the self confidence to know what to do. I hope I never get too busy to help others…

Hope you enjoy her card…

…and this was on the inside…

…and the back…

Isn’t it fun? I just LOVE it!

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. wonderfully clever of her ….. goes to show that we each have special talents…certainly she has a way with pictures and words…I love it too.

  2. Jeanne, what a wonderful card!!! Those would be great mass produced! There is such a large sewing audience that I bet a lot of seamstresses would LOVE to have it for one occasion or another. SOOOO many clever people in this wonderful world of ours!

  3. Linda Doyle says:

So cute—-and original! I, too, know the feeling of frustration in trying to follow sewing instructions and getting nowhere! So glad you could help her out, but not before she made this for you!
