Just another pretty face…

Over the years I have owned many many dolls; some have stayed and others have gone on to new moms. Sometimes I get to wondering how a doll is adjusting to their new home and I even get emails occasionally from the new owners saying my doll is fitting in perfectly with her new “sisters.”
As I was looking over some pictures today I was noticing just how pretty some of my dolls are and were. I thought I’d showcase some of their pretty faces so you could see that I wasn’t exaggerating. It was hard to pick just one picture from all the thousands of pictures I have, but here goes anyway….and I didn’t include every doll, just most of them…

Okay… that’s probably enough picture overload…

Something else… don’t forget ~ today is the last day to sign up to be a subscriber and get in on this GIVEAWAY. I’m doing the drawing
tonight at midnight Illinois time, (central) and tomorrow I’ll post who the winner is. If you need to see the post where I talked about it,
that post can be seen here.

…and one more thing… a year ago my hubby was diagnosed with bladder cancer and I won’t lie, it has been a roller coaster of a year. But the Lord has been faithful to us and the last 2 checkups have been good. Today was our 9 month post chemo checkup and we got another great report! I just wanted to thank the Lord publically and give HIM all the glory for being SO good to us! Actually what I’d like to do is go to the tallest mountain and just shout my lungs out…but I guess I won’t.

See you tomorrow,
Blessings Jeanne

    1. Hi Jeannie,
If we lived closer together we could run to that mountain together. I’ll answer your email in another email. Thanks for what you wrote me.
I guess if I didn’t say anything, some might not know the old dolls from the old…
I’m glad you are a subscriber and enjoying it.
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. Jeanne,

Oh, such wonderful news about your sweet hubby! So nice to hear something positive after finding out my friend, who also has bladder cancer, has just found that her cancer has come back and has spread. She needs prayers!

On another note, while I love dolls, period, I just have something for the AG dolls with their smiling faces that gives me a pick-up when I need it.

Good luck to everyone on the drawing!

    1. Linda,
I was laying in bed last night thinking of your friend, Marcia. I knew it had been a while since she had finished her treatments and I was wondering how she was doing. She must be so devastated…and her family. Please do keep me updated.
I know what you mean by those AG dolls and their faces. Recently Julie has been tugging at my heart strings… I don’t need her but she is just on my mind a lot lately. Maybe because I’m a 70’s high schooler…
I can’t wait to see who the winner is too!
      Blessings, Jeanne

      1. Julie has been calling to me also and I agree it is from being a high schooler in the 70’s. its weird when people so what they think of 70’s look and it is so far off.. I always want to correct them… but then I think that maybe the “gate way to the west” looks was different than theirs.

  3. A happy day for all of you…that is the best news. Maybe you won’t be screaming, but I’m sure you’re saying many thankful prayers today.
Love seeing all of your beautiful dolls too. Have a wonderful day, Jeanne.

    1. Thank you Cindy,
Yes, a happy day was a total understatement! It’s so sweet to get good news!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. Praise the Lord! So happy for your good news. God is so good! Prayers for continued good health!

Your dolls are truly beautiful! Your wig styling and beautiful outfits make them very special. :o)

    1. Carolyn,
Thanks so much for being a subscriber and for commenting! I have the best job in the world… playing with dolls and making them and other people’s dolls clothes! What could be better than that?
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. You have some lovely dolls there Jeanne! All so very pretty. I have been looking at the AG but the cloth body puts me off, but they do have such cute faces!
I’m pleased to hear that your husband is doing well with his health, long may that continue!
    Hugs Sharon in Spain x

    1. Sharon,
I guess you get used to the cloth body of the AG dolls… I hardly notice their bodies. Most of the time it is covered up anyway with clothing. I guess you are used to the Sasha dolls bodies and it might be a turn off to you. You’ve had your fair share of lovely dolls too Sharon! I’ve seen them!!!
      Thanks so much for writing,
      Blessings, Jeanne

    1. Thanks Kathie,
Yes, it’s been very scary, but I’ve had Someone to hold me all along the way!
      Blessings, Jeanne
