I’m having a GIVEAWAY… a pair of fingerless gloves for American Girl dolls…

I decided it was time to have another GIVEAWAY and thought I’d check to see when my last one was… I thought some time in December…no. So I checked November…no! Surely it must have been in October…still no! Okay, how about September… and still another no! The last Giveaway I had was on August 27th! It was for a tulle slip! I can’t believe it’s been that long, so this Giveaway is WAY overdue!

I’m a little late for Valentine’s Day, but I’m sure you can still use these… a pair of white stretch lace fingerless gloves for your American Girl dolls. I’ll give you a few choices and you can leave a comment (at the bottom of the post) or an email to me, (jeannewiedlocher@gmail.com) telling me which pair you would like to have if you are the winner. Your comment will enter you into the drawing. I’ll pick a winner tonight at midnight, Central time. (I’ve added a description in the bottom left corner on each picture. [If you click on the pictures, they will enlarge.]

I’m going to help my hubby with an electrical job at an antique shop today, so I probably won’t be able to answer your comments, but I promise I’ll read every one of them… I’ll be checking in just to make sure no one is having any problems…

Okay, so pick your favorite pair and leave a comment to get registered for the drawing… Have fun!

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. Hi Jeanne, Love those fingerless gloves. Question, Where do you find the stretch lace? I’ve just learned how to make these. Not very good yet but I am getting there.

    Lynne

    1. HI Lynne,
You can get the lace at Hobby Lobby and look on Etsy…at stretch lace. You’ll find lots on there. You didn’t pick a pair if you win. Let me know your favorites.
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. Jeanne, I love your fingerless gloves! I already have 3 pair, but they do add to Cecile and Felicity’s outfits, so I can always always use another pair! I love the third pair down with the 3 little heart buttons—perfect for Valentine’s Day!

  3. Hi Jeanne, Hannah & I were admiring your gloves and she loves the ones with the 3 pink buttons. They are all pretty and she would actually love any of them?. Take pics at the antique shop & fill us in on your day. Love you!

    1. HI Cindy,
I did take a few pics and maybe I’ll share them…
      Tell Hannah I said, “hi!”
      Love you both, me

  4. Hello, I’m on the opposite side of this global village, so I won’t qualify – but I just have to say that these little gloves are the sweetest I have seen. Good luck to the winner!

    1. HI Louise,
I’m sorry you are so far away… Thank you for your sweet compliments on my doll gloves.
Where are you from, by the way?
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. I adore all your gloves. Today so happens to be my birthday. so if I win a pair, it would be awsum. Thanks for all you do.

    1. Well, I have to say Happy Birthday to you Janis, and wouldn’t this be a fine day if your name was drawn?
      Thanks so much,
      blessings, Jeanne

  6. So kind of you to do a give away! I like the ones with the red hearts, if chosen.
Hope you find lots of neat things at the shop today. Love antique shopping but need those garage/estate sale prices. Hope you get some pictures of interesting displays.

    1. Hi Joy,
I’ve got you down for the red hearts should you win…
I didn’t find lots but it was still fun…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  7. These are so adorable! My favorite pair is the ones with two pearls; I love the sweet simplicity of them! I so admire your work; it inspires me to create something!

  8. They are ALL beautiful. I finally found the lace in a Hobby Lobby and am going to get busy doing some of the things I have seen you do. Win or Lose these are lovely!

    1. HI April,
You didn’t let me know which gloves you’d like if you were the winner…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  9. Good morning Jeanne,

How fun to be at an antique shop today AND with your hubby.
Your gloves are always so pretty and the perfect accessory for the Civil War and Colonial girls. There’s something about those gloves with the red hearts that’s appealing to me. Kind of reminds me of something a young Mary Todd Lincoln would wear. The “two pink hearts” are pretty too. Well all the gloves are !! But those would be my favorites, next to the white pearl ones. Yipes! I like them all!! The red most of all. LOL

    1. HI Paula,
Thanks for your comments on the gloves… yes, you can never had enough gloves for your dolls…I’ve got you down for the red filigree ones… (at least for now…)
      Blessings, Jeanne

  10. Helping with an electrical job. That’s wonderful and a talent you haven’t shared with us. I hope you get some shopping time. What if there are antique buttons or beads.
I think I’d choose the classic 2 pearl gloves.
Yesterday I went to the home of a friend to see all the Downton Abbey episodes I’ve missed. I wore the earrings by Rebecca that I won last year. Maybe they’ll bring me luck.

    1. HI Marilyn,
Oh yeah… living in this 1892 fixer upper house of ours, qualifies me as “assistant to the electrician!” I’ve fished more wire through walls than any woman I know!
I did get some shopping time…and even had to make a coffee run at the grocery store.
I’ll tell Rebecca you wore her earrings…
      Thanks Marilyn,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  11. Your gloves are all lovely, Jeanne. I believe the 2 pearls are my favorites.

How fun to be with your husband today. I trust that you’ll have some anecdotes to share with us tomorrow.

    Take care.

    1. HI Becky,
Well, I’ll share a few things with everyone… since I didn’t get any sewing done today… eep!
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  12. I love the pink sheer bows with pearls. So beautiful!!

    Take Care!!

Picking up my Kit valentine outfit today at post office, very excited!!

    1. HI Robin,
Thanks for entering the glove drawing.
I hope your dress for Kit is everything you hoped it would be!
      Thanks again,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  13. Hi Jeanne,
I’ve been out all day braving our dip down into cold weather again to run errands. It began snowing while I was out and now we have 1/2 inch, just enough to make everything white again.
All the gloves are lovely, but I like the one with the two pearls best, very elegant and ladylike.

    1. Hi Laura,
We woke up to snow and frigid cold blowing winds today too! It was 23 degrees when we left go to the antique shop. Even inside the shop was fairly cold… We only got about a 1/2″ too.
      Thanks for entering…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  14. I like the Pink Filigree Hearts for Felicity, but I’d give a lot to know where you find all of those tiny, tiny buttons? An electrical job at an antique shop certainly sounds interesting.

    1. HI Susette,
You can some tiny buttons at Joann’s, Hobby Lobby and then on Ebay… I just keep an eye out for them wherever I am…
My hubby got the lady all fixed up as much as he could in one day. There are still some other things to be done, but at least now it’s safe and she has power in the whole shop. He’s really talented and I think I’ll keep him!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  15. I think the gloves with the three pink heart buttons are cute. I don’t have an AG doll but my granddaughter does.

    1. HI Regina,
Well, if you win, I guess we know what you’ll be doing with them…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  16. The gloves would be the perfect accessory for my colonial girls. I think my favorite would be the pink bows.

    1. HI Carolyn,
Well, here’s to hoping your Colonial girls get their dream gloves!
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

    1. HI Katherine,
Thank you for the nice compliments on the doll gloves. I’m sorry the giveaway is over, but if you keep watching maybe you can be in on the next one.
      Blessings, Jeanne
