How about some Pink AND Red doll dresses for Valentine’s Day….

I’ve been searching through all my pictures looking for doll dresses that are red and pink and ones that were exclusively Valentine dresses in years past. I have found quite a few more and wanted to share them. I think I might be able to say after this picture search of pinks, that it was probably my most popular color. Not all the pictures are of actual Valentine dresses, but many of them were and could easily have been.

If you click on any picture, it will enlarge somewhat.

This was Cecile’s Valentine dress in 2013…

This next dress was Addy’s Valentine dress back in 2011…

This next dress was called “Peach of a Valentine” back in 2009…

This next picture of Isabelle and her dress isn’t very good, but it was an adorable dress and she never looked sweeter than she did in it.

…and last up today is a pink and white polka dotted dress for Lian…it was her Valentine dress in 2013.

I’ll have more to share in a few days… don’t want to give you too much “pink overload!”

See you tomorrow,

  1. Sweet dresses, Jeanne. Peach of a Valentine is such a cute title. Your AG historical dresses have so many details. They look like they take a lot of time to make.
Lian and Isabelle ALWAYS looks pretty, and in pink and red all the prettier. I don’t remember the one that you said isn’t a good picture. Love that style too. The sash and loops and vertical lace are a nostalgic touch.
    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hi Cindy,
I’ve had a very busy day and I’m just now getting to the comments. Thank you for your nice comments on my AG dresses. I like the way the details make the dresses seem more “real” if you know what I mean.
Yes, I don’t think Isabelle or Lian could look bad in anything I made… pink, red, purple or any other color.
Thanks for reading, Cindy, I appreciate it.

  2. I love the historical dresses! They are stunning! My very favorite is the
#1 picture…that material makes me swoon!

    Have a great day!

    1. Hi Jane,
Yes, that red and black and gray print is very nice! It’s very crisp and precise looking. I thought it looked exceptional on Cecile’s darker skin tones.
Don’t swoon too much…there are more red and pink dresses to come…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. Love the dresses and their colors. My favorite one is “Peach Of A Valentine”. All of your material choices are beautiful. Like I said, I wish I had been aware of you sooner…your dresses are magnificent.
The booklet yesterday was very interesting – enjoyed reading your comments about it.
    Have a great day!
    Blessings.

    1. Hi Paula,
I love that Peach of a Valentine dress as well. I think that pattern suits that fabric so perfectly. There will be more dresses, Paula, so don’t be dismayed!
I appreciate your sweet words about my dresses and I’m glad you are enjoying them.
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. I love them all, but the first two are just exceptional! My favorite colors are red and pink so today’s pictures really appealed to me.

    1. Hi Carolyn,
I like the second fabric VERY much and wish I had bought the whole bolt of it. The print is sort of like little pixel dots and is so pretty in person. I searched for a long time after making up a few dresses in it, but never could find it. I always called it Old Fashioned because I thought it just looked like it was from days gone by.
Thanks for stopping by, Carolyn. I appreciate it.
      Blessings, Jeanne
