Happy Christmas Eve to you!

*

Well,

today is

Christmas Eve

and I hope you have

all your presents bought

and wrapped. I hope you have your

menu all finalized for your Christmas dinner

and I certainly hope you have family to spend the day

with.  Most of all I hope you have taken just a moment to

reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

Blessings,

Jeanne

  1. Merry Christmas and a whole load of blessings to you too!

My cataract surgery went well and I can see better already. The doctor says my eyes are beginning to heal, and the problems that some people have — short term double vision, for example — are not bothering me, so all your blessings are working already and all the pictures of dresses are even prettier than they were yesterday.

    1. Merry Christmas Marilyn,
I’m so happy your surgery went well and that you are already “seeing” good results! You’ll have those 16 year old eyes very soon!
You are a gem to me…
      Blessings, Jeanne

    1. Merry Christmas to you too, Cindy!
You have such a sweet “family” of “girls” and I can’t wait to see what you make them next year! You’ve probably already got 10 Valentine or Easter dresses made…am I right?
      Blessings to you Cindy,

You certainly got “fancy” with the computer today, Jeanne!

    1. HI Linda and Merry Christmas to you as well,
I just discovered I could use color in my writing last night… now if I could just figure out the picture problems… Oh well, next year I’ll deal with that…
Thanks for all your sweet comments and your friendship Linda.
I hope 2016 is the year we can meet up…surely we can…
      Blessings, Jeanne

“I’m Dreaming of a White Christmas…” but it’s not gonna happen with temps in the 60’s!

    1. HI Mary and Merry Christmas to you!

I know of one little dolly that’s supposed to come my way this year…I’ve been waiting 20 months already for her, so I hope she’ll be worth the wait when I get her.
I’ve got to decide who will be up first this year and maybe cull a few dolls who didn’t make the cut last year….
      Blessings, Jeanne

I hope that you have a blessed Christmas. I thank-you for your friendship. I so enjoy your Blog.
The Blue dress has been started and will hopefully finish it by this evening. I will send you a photo
when it is done. I also found some of that white fuzzy fabric that you used on a jacket for one of your outfits. Sylvia

    1. HI Sylvia and a very Merry Christmas to you,

I will be watching for pictures of your blue Christmas dress… your doll that gets to wear it will be so thrilled!

  7. MERRY CHRISTMAS Jeanne!
We are celebrating tonight…all the linens. silver wine glasses and Christmas dishes were drug out from their hiding places yesterday and the table ( actually 3 tables all in line) are set and ready to go.
    Enjoy Christmas with your Family!

      Blessings, Jeanne

  8. Only present left to wrap is the car for the grand kiddies. Should be interesting.
Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday.

    1. Hi Joy,
Well, it sounds like you have everything under control… I’m still baking…and have 2 presents wrapped! yippee!
      Have a wonderful Christmas, Joy,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  9. So busy I couldn’t Speak My Mind until now. Thanks again for a wonderful year of your Blog. Color is fun, isn’t it? That tree is a masterpiece of patience !

I had to laugh with Kathie as that was what was keeping me so busy, the table, although it’s only for six. Used little Charles Dickens houses from 1991 that I only used once before for the centerpiece as they had to have plug-in cords for lighting then. Good for battery-operated lights and pretty flowers. Can’t wait for the girls to see their scarves, Jeanne.

Happy Holidays to everyone in the Jeanne Marie family of followers.

    1. Thank you Susette,
I just bought some of those battery operated lights myself yesterday and have them on a wreath.
Your table sounds wonderful, like Kathie’s!
      Have a very Merry Christmas!
      Blessings, Jeanne
