Eight Teasers from Ten Ping…

Don’t forget…Patsy’s dress set “Just in Time for Fall” ends this evening on Ebay. You can see it HERE, or click the picture at the right side bar.—>

You’ll be thrilled to know that I finished Ten Ping’s dress set. However, I didn’t have time to get it listed on Ebay, but I’ll do my best to get it on Tuesday evening. It is a real cutie and I think Ten Ping is adorable in this one. I am pretty partial to black and pinks though… I always have been. I took a few quick “teaser” pictures (sorry) and thought I’d share them with you. You’ll have to use your imagination and picture how this all looks on Ten Ping.

Here we go…

  1. I love the hearts on Ten Ping’s shoes. This looks like another winner. The pink petticoat is such a delicate color — it really suits Ten Ping and goes with the pink jacket. The pink looks much less dusty in these photos than it did the other day — is it your lighting or my monitor?

I just discovered that my emails seem to be sending, but aren’t being received. I think my email was working the 15th, because on the 16th you mentioned here that I had emailed you, saying I thought Ten Ping would be next. I wrote to Linda Doyle yesterday but I don’t know if she received the email. Other people have been repeating questions or asking if I was well — it’s taken a while to figure out why. Orders have gone through and I receive email. I wonder if it will be self correcting. That would be nice. At least I’m slightly connected through your blog. How useful you are, for so many reasons. This is just one more.

    1. Hi Marilyn,
I was busy Helping George outside and then working at getting Ten Ping’s set listed on Ebay. I am just now getting to everyone’s comments.
Ten Ping’s jackets are both the same color as the light color in the pink rosebud.
I hope your computer gets fixed soon…there’s not much more frustrating…
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. Both jackets have just darling solutions to the flower accent. Very clever. I’ll send Marilyn a picture of my Ten Ping flower solution and see if I get a response. I haven’t made an outfit for Ten Ping since last Christmas when I made matching ones for Riya, her Isabelle doll and my Ten Ping. Maybe the flowers finished me off for a while. Looking forward to seeing the Ten Ping outfit and accessories.

    1. My email is functioning again or at least people seem to be getting my emails again. Many thanks, Jeanne, for letting us use your blog to get started on a solution, and to Linda and Susette for sending messages so that I could be sure it was working.

    2. Hi Susette,
I actually have it written down where I wanted to share about making leaves…maybe I still will…I saw your pictures of the green dresses and it reminded me of it…
I just got Ten Ping’s set listed on Ebay…
      Thanks Susette,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. What darling pictures and surprises you have there, Jeanne! I thought you would use two different pinks on the different jackets, but they both look like the lighter pink on my monitor. Are they the same? Love the little flowers you embroidered too! So dainty and delicate! I too, love the soft pink petticoat! The little hat looks adorable, and the shoes—did you actually make those? Just adorable!

No, Marilyn, I did not receive any email from you and was wondering what happened! Hopefully it will get straightened out soon!

    1. Hi Linda,
The jackets are similar in color but the texture is very different. The hot pink was just too shocking to use, I thought…
Yes, I made those little shoes. I had gotten out of practice and they took me a while to remember how to put them together…
      Thanks so much,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. Such a well put together outfit. And the shoes. Considering Ten Ping’s foot is about the length of my pinkie’s first fold, I would say a miracle. A very cute slip and those thigh highs too. You have been busy.
On another note, little Yu Ping should be here today if all goes well. Should have had her yesterday, but we were not home and they wouldn’t leave her without signature. Drove around looking for the mail truck. Couldn’t find. Drove to the post office, and it was still on the truck where ever it was. 🙁

    1. Hi Joy,
Yes those shoes are pretty tiny. ..it’s sort of fun putting them together but I had all these little pattern pieces from when I was trying to perfect them, and I had forgotten which one I used so it took me a few tries to get them right this time.
I saw your email with the pictures Yu Ping and she is so cute… I bet your girls are having a grand ole time together.
      Thanks Joy,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  5. Ten Ping’s dress looks great! I like pink and black also. I see you have gotten the shoe-making down pat now. I remember when you were experimenting with the shoes to get them just right.

    1. Hi Carolyn,
I was just telling Joy I had all these little slivers of patterns for the shoes and forgot which one I actually used so I had to give it a few tries before I got these made.
Thank you for your compliments on Ten Ping’s dress set. She is such a little cutie and I enjoy sewing for her.
      Blessings, Jeanne
