All the extra Giveaways are listed in our Etsy Shop…

First of all, thank you so much for the wishes and congratulations you sent my way today on my One Year Anniversary of this blog! You were all so kind and sweet and thoughtful and it felt wonderful on my end.
It has been a fun week for me, thinking of Giveaways, drawing out names each night, (although staying up each night till midnight to pick the winner was getting a bit wearying…), packing up the prizes and sending them out…it was all a lot of fun for me and I hope you enjoyed it. I wish everyone could have been a winner… there’ll be more Giveaways…so stay tuned.

There is one last winner… the person who won the Skinny Scarf… I did like each night before; put the names all in a pile, mixed them up face down…

…drew a name out and the winner of the last Giveaway is Sylvia! She picked the Navy and Turquoise Skinny Scarf!

Send me an email with your address and I’ll get your scarf mailed out on Monday. I’ll get the other two scarves listed in our Etsy shop soon.

Rebecca and I got busy today… mostly Rebecca, and the prizes that didn’t get picked went into our Etsy shop… you can see them HERE. Plus, Rebecca got on a roll beading this afternoon and didn’t want to stop. My part is the slow part… taking pictures and loading them all… Here are a few things listed in the shop…some things sold before I even got them all listed. (check out this cameo necklace… I’ll show you here, but it’s already sold…)

But these items are hopefully still there for you to see…

She’s got some big ideas coming and I hope you’ll keep an eye on our shop.

I’ve got to get busy with some “Back to School” outfits… it’s 13 days till school starts here!

I hope to see you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. Hi, Jeanne! Your anniversary week of giveaways was such fun to watch!! Congratulations on your first full year and accomplishing what you set out to do. We all love you so much and feel you’ve become a part of our lives and families. We also wish you health, happiness, prosperity and many, many special blessings in the year to come. 1. Thank you Bobi,

  2. Jeannie B. in TX

Jeanne, it did not take me too long to develop a new morning ritual; Coffee and Dreaming of Jeanne Marie’s blog. Very little is allowed to interfere with my “quiet time” !
Congratulations to your one year of successful blogs. I have really enjoyed the time spent with you, your family and your vast knowledge base.
    Thank you !!!!

    1. Thanks so much Jeannie,
I don’t drink coffee in the morning with many of you, but I do have my own little morning ritual too! It involves a whole host of women I did not know this time last year!
      It’s a GOOD thing!
I have enjoyed getting to you know all you ladies from Texas to Ohio and Georgia to Washington! I am truly blessed!
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. Jeanne, it certainly was fun to see who won the prizes each day this past week. and although I didn’t win a thing, I feel like I hit the jackpot with your wonderful blog! I have enjoyed reading it each and every morning, and have learned so many things from you. Although I’m not quite the sewer you are, I do enjoy it every now and then. It’s something that stays with you and is so nice to be able to do. Not enough young women sew anymore, and they are missing out on a wonderful, relaxing hobby!
Here’s to another fun-filled, successful year for you and all your wonderful readers!

    1. Thank you so much Linda,
I am richly blessed to know all of you…and you are probably my closest subscriber!…oh wait, my aunt is probably the closest.
I’m waiting to see if I like the new Maryellen doll when she comes out on the 27th of August. My birthday is only 2 days after that, so I was thinking maybe if I liked her, I might try and get my hubby to drive me to St. Louis and pick one out… that’s a big IF but a girl can dream…
I’m so happy that you like the things I ramble on about and even get inspired over some of them. I’ll always think of you as my Pickle friend.. My hubby LOVES those things! me too.
Thanks and many blessings to you Linda,
      ` Jeanne

  4. Thanks for such a fun week. There sure were outstanding items to look at!
I agree with Linda…not enough girls are interested in sewing. It’s not that have to be perfect at it…but it is a life skill. To be able to repair simple items or make a curtain or hem a skirt or pants…everyone needs to know that. Or Fair was last week…and compared to the early 80’s where there were hundreds of sewing or craft items …there were less than 25 clothing items this year…:( Still lots of crafts though..at least Pinterest and Etsy help out there .
Have a good week starting year 2!

    1. Thanks Kathie,
Wouldn’t we have had fun looking at all those things… well at least 25 of them… I agree, sewing seems to be a lost art and I’m so glad I know how to do it. I think that’s why I get asked to do so many projects…nobody else knows how!
I have enjoyed the year and now it’s time to move onto so School things…
      Thanks again Kathie,
      Blessings, Jeanne
