A Sunday Surprise to Share…

My power came on sometime during the night Friday but I had too many commitments on Saturday to put together a post. Since there was nothing to see on Saturday, I thought I would make it up to you by posting ONE picture of what I’ve been working on…I’m still not finished, but maybe this will “hold you over.”

If you click on the picture it will enlarge.

See you tomorrow,
Blessings, Jeanne

  1. Oh, just perfect, Jeanne! How nice that you were able to go with the looping from the cape to the purse! That’s just what Felicity needs, and no doubt that it will add an extra “something” to the whole ensemble! Love it!

I’m glad you finally got your power back, so just relax today and do whatever makes you happy! We are ready for round 3 of the ice storm today, and I hope a better week coming up!

  2. Great picture. I love that little reticule. This is going to be a lovely, detailed outfit. Every girl on the shelf is going to want something similar.

Linda, stay safe and avoid accidents. It sounds like a good day to stay home and bake bread and make soup.

    1. Good luck on the cabin.

From yesterday — are you inheriting a Felicity or did you find a irresistible used one or did you find a picture of the new one that makes her look like an AG you want to add to your collection?

Has anyone seen a good likely picture of the BeForever Felicity or of Tenney?

      1. Cabin escaped the flood! So happy.
I found an irresistible used one. We’ll see how she looks upon arrival. Those pictures can be deceiving but she has reddish lashes.
Haven’t seen the new one, but the old ones are so nice.

  3. Ooooooh, such a delightful tease! My Caroline Abbott says shes ready to “go back in time” to wear this one!

  4. Love, love, love the tease picture of the outfit. What you’ve shown is just beautiful. This is going to be such a grand outfit. Can’t wait to see the whole set.

    Jeanne, enjoy you’re Sunday.
Linda, definitely stay indoors…Marilyn had a good idea…baking bread and making soup!
Joy, hope your cabin is alright.
Shara, I have a few dolls that flip back and forth in different eras like your Caroline. It’s wonderful to do when Jeanne makes these gorgeous outfits.

Linda, stay indoors- Marilyn had a good idea…bread and soup!

  5. My computer froze right in the middle of my text above and I thought I lost most of my note. Thus the second line to Linda. It just froze again while writing this note. Something must really be wrong with my laptop. I need my niece to help fix it. : (

  6. Hi everyone,
I just had to tease you a little bit with Felicity’s dress. It is SO pretty on her. She has never looked more gorgeous than she does in this one.
My hubby and I are watching the Packers/ Cowboys football game this afternoon. No sewing for at least a few hours…
Hope you have a restful Sunday afternoon.
    Blessings, Jeanne

  7. Well, this was interesting. I bought a Southwestern style coat for Julie, who likes to add ethnic touches to her wardrobe, and the seller asked me for feedback — not on the item I bought — I’d done the feedback for that, but in general. It took awhile to find you Dear Seller post (Nov. 17) but I found it and sent her the link and encouraged her to come to the blog and look around. I think it will help a lot.

    1. Wow Marilyn,
      That’s pretty exciting…thanks. I picked up a new subscriber today…maybe it was her…:o)

I love the embroidered accents on the bodice of Felicity’s dress! They add such a lot!!

The little reticule is cute, too, but the embroider on the dress is what “does it” for me!
