A few of my girls in pants…

The weather here in Southern Illinois has turned a bit chilly the last few days. I’ve been forced to bring my sweaters and long sleeved things down from upstairs. I’m not real fond of cold weather and wish Fall could last a little longer.

As I was looking over some pictures of my dolls, I realized the majority of my outfits have been dresses… probably 99% dresses! So I thought with the cooler weather approaching, I would showcase a few outfits made with pants. Hope you enjoy these brought back from the archives…

  1. Went pants shopping yesterday and found nothing. Wish I looked as cute in pants as your girls do. It’s never gonna happen, oh well. Have a great weekend, Jeanne.

    1. Cindy,
Pants shopping is right up there with “Bathing suit” shopping for me! I hate to do both.
I’m working on it though…. pound by pound… and then I can’t wait for the day when I walk into a store and LIKE how the pants looks on me.

    1. Jeannie,
I still remember making Song’s Asian outfit. I called this one “Panda-monium.” I always liked it too. I designed the tunic top and used it several times for Song.
      Thanks Jeannie,
I looked again in my Wal Mart yesterday for some pink cowboy hats and still nothing. I think it was a Texas thing…

    1. Hi Jan,
As I was putting this together, I realized most of my pants outfits were on Asian dolls… I might have to do an “Asian” post sometime featuring them all…
      Thanks for looking,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  2. I love Asian dolls too, I just love the doll and outfit in the 2nd photo. I have a Tonner Mary Engelbreit Gracie doll. One day I hope to sew her an Asian outfit.

    1. HI Regina,
Is the Gracie Mary Engelbreit doll an Asian one? I’ll have to look her up and see what she looks like. I think I have a thing for Asian dolls too… but they have to be really cute to model for me…. Hope you get that Asian outfit made for her. You’ll have to send me a picture when you do.
      Blessings, Jeanne

        1. HI again Regina,
I looked Gracie up and I do remember seeing her, I just forgot her name… She’s a cutie too.
          Blessings, Jeanne

  3. Jeanne, the little Oriental girl in the black/white checks with the colorful fans on the black fabric with the cute little hat is one of the cutest dolls (and outfits) I have seen! Please tell me who she is and how tall she she is. Super outfit!
