A few more Red, White & Blue sets for Elin, Nyssa and Kirsten…

I was looking through my archived photos and found a few more sets that fit right in with the Fourth of July holiday coming up in just 17 days. I’m thinking this might be the first year since 2006, when I started sewing/selling for the dolls on Ebay that I haven’t gotten a single Patriotic outfit made…but surely I can get something for someone made…don’t you think? As soon as I get this post written, I’m going to head to my sewing room and see what I can come up with!

While you wait to see what I come up with, here are Elin, Nyssa and Kirsten in a few past sets in red, white and blue… I hope you enjoy looking at them…

  1. Good Morning Jeanne,
Beautiful dresses in their red, white and blue colors. I sure wish I had known you years ago. ( 2006 when you started on Ebay) My girls would have loved many of your dresses as I would too.
You found some interesting yard sale items. That must have been a fun yard sale with it being so large.
Hope Remy is getting use to his new home. I’m sure he is with all the love he is given.
    Enjoy your day!
    Blessings!

    1. Hi Paula,
Thanks so much for your sweet comments on my post today! I’m just glad you’ve found me now! I hope you are too!
Yes, it was SO huge… people were amazed at home much we had…
Remy is settling in nicely and George thinks he’s such a smart puppy. He’s learned how to play fetch and bring the toy back to him in just 3 short weeks. Scruff never learned how to play fetch in 11 years! He would always just run away with the ball or toy… oh well…
      Thanks Paula,
      blessings, Jeanne

  2. Jeanne you always use such pretty fabrics, all of these dresses are very pretty. I think my favorite is the last one that Kirsten is wearing. I love the collar on her blouse and the blue fabric on the skirt is so pretty. Maybe I can see your counter because I am on my laptop.
Hope that you get something patriotic made today. *Smile*

    1. Thank you Regina,
Kirsten’s last dress is probably my favorite of the group today too! It’s so much fun to mix and match fabrics… I love that about making dresses for her.
I’m going to try at getting something done today!
      Thanks again,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  3. Jeanne, I absolutely love Kirsten’s outfits! I’m not sure why I never got her, but she is an adorable doll and I love the Swedish heritage outfits that you make for her.

Well, another dreary day with more rain on the horizon! You would think we live in Seattle! I can’t imagine what it must be like to take Remy outside and then have to bring him back in all drippy and wet—-then having him shake himself off! Is he scared of thunder? All of our cats would go under our bed or in the basement when it rained or stormed. With our last cat, Sophie, she went downstairs under the computer desk way before a storm or raindrops ever fell, so we knew something was coming! It never failed!

    1. Thanks Linda,
I’m glad you like Kirsten’s dresses! It’s funny how everyone picks the dolls they have. Those pictures were taken on my old Kirsten doll and she looked pretty sweet in them, I have to admit. Her skin was pretty yellowed, but it didn’t show too much in the pictures.
It’s dreary here and super super humid! It’s supposed to rain this afternoon.
George did this thing with Scruffy when he came in from the wet grass…he’d take a towel and throw it over him and just rub and rub until he was dry. Scruff loved it. Remy isn’t too sure about it. He tries to get away and when he does, he looks like a race horse trotting off with a blanket all over him. It’s pretty cute!
      Thanks Linda,
      Blessings, Jeanne

  4. Elin’s outfit is my favorite. Right now the number is 20, 107. This is below the box for select category.

    1. HI Jan,
Yes, you’re seeing the counter… great! Not that it matters to anyone but me, but I like seeing it change from day to day.
I was just looking at Elin thinking I should change her eyes sometime, but I think the blue ones are just so sweet on her… maybe a new wig…
      Thanks Jan,
      blessings, Jeanne
